Android Accessibility Statement

Compliance status

The Woebot Android application is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA standard. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. These accessibility issues can be seen in the list below, along with a brief explanation of their user impact and the relevant WCAG success criteria (SC):

  • Some colours used for text and meaningful icons have a contrast ratio with the surrounding background that is less than the required ratio. For users with low vision or colour-blindness it can be difficult to read these sections. WCAG SC: 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum), 1.4.11 Non-text Contrast.
  • Some colours used for user interface components have a contrast ratio with their surrounding background that is less than the required ratio. For users with low vision or colour-blindness it can be difficult to understand and operate these controls. WCAG SC: 1.4.11 Non-text Contrast.
  • The Mood Tracker charts can omit some visual information about the check-ins when focused. TalkBack users do not always get the same information that is shown visually on the charts. WCAG SC: 1.1.1 Non-text Content, 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value.
